Cwith a crowbar and a balaclava in the public park of Pomigliano d'Arco, at just 13 and 11 years old.
This is what the municipal police discovered while carrying out checks on the city's weekend nightlife, and in particular on public parks, also following the numerous fights between very young people, which on Saturday evening also resulted in a sixteen-year-old being injured in the central Piazza Primavera.
In particular, the municipal police led by commander Luigi Maiello, stopped the two boys while they were in a more hidden area of the urban park, where in the last few days another fight between very young people had been recorded.
During the checks, the municipal police also stopped some boys who were throwing stones at the windows of a building, and others who were spreading terror among their peers. The officers reported the incidents to social services and the Public Prosecutor's Office, and handed all the boys back to their parents.
A real baby gang emergency that pushed the mayor of Pomigliano d'Arco, Gianluca Del Mastro, to speak of "real gangs, both local and from neighboring municipalities, who come to the city at the weekend with the aim of spreading fear and violence".
“We can no longer bear to fear for our safety and that of our loved ones every time we go out for a walk,” said the mayor. “The public parks will be patrolled by the police, including in joint service with the Carabinieri, and controls will be tight: we will use every form of deterrence to prevent episodes of violence from occurring.”
