A 66-year-old man from Pozzuoli already known to the police will have to answer for attempted murder.
The Carabinieri of the Pozzuoli radiomobile section intervened in his home after a request for help arrived at 112.
The man had attacked his 62-year-old wife, hitting her on the head several times with a wooden meat tenderizer. He even broke it with blows, causing the woman serious injuries that will cost her a 40-day prognosis.
The woman was taken to the hospital and is not in danger of life. The victim's father was also injured, who intervened to protect his daughter and was beaten by his son-in-law. 7 days of prognosis prescribed.
The doors of Poggioreale prison have opened for the 66-year-old. He is now awaiting the validation hearing.
