Melito professor Marcello Toscano was killed for asking for the repayment of a debt.
The janitor Giuseppe Porcelli, in fact, admitted to having killed, during an argument over economic reasons and in particular for the return of a sum of 3500 euros received as a loan, the support teacher Marcello Toscano, inside the former house now used as a warehouse, in the Marino Guarano school of Melito.
The turning point – as reported by Il Mattino and La Repubblica Napoli – during an interrogation before the prosecutor of the Naples North Prosecutor's Office of the man investigated for the murder that occurred on September 27th, the janitor Giuseppe Porcelli, 54 years old, incarcerated in the Poggioreale prison in Naples.
The repayment of the loan and arguments about the total amount to be paid would have animated the discussion until the fatal outcome. A knife was the murder weapon with which Porcelli would have hit the teacher several times.
