Travel and music have always been interconnected, tied by an imperceptible but indissoluble thread whose fibers are born and take shape from the human soul without distinctions of era, country, gender and culture. Real or chimerical journeys, with or without a destination, desired, dreamed and which we often happen to stumble upon due to a “case” that, probably, does not even exist. Excursions inside and outside of us, of which we are not always able to remember the start, a beginning that becomes clearer only during the journey. And it is precisely to the concept of travel that the electro-pop-rock band from Desenzano 3nema has decided to dedicate “Psychedelic” (PaKo Music Records/Visory Records/Believe Digital), the perfect musical framework, without margins and limits, to escape by finding yourself.
The unstoppable desire to get into the car, press the accelerator and drive non-stop to get as far away as possible, from our routine and from what we carry inside, is sometimes all we need to glimpse what we struggle to perceive up close, the combination to open the vault of our inner universe and break it down, analyzing every glimpse, stronghold, ruin and temple, to then reconnect each piece with the awareness of what we really are.
“Lost gaze and I go away from here, I don't think of anything and the luggage is in my car”; phrases that, with the disarming simplicity and communicative ability typical of great artists, contain between the pauses and sighs of which they are composed, the opposite poles of their own immediate meaning, setting themselves in the feelings of those who choose to leave with their gaze lost in a void that smells of everything, to the point of confusing the senses, and in incessant thoughts, impossible to silence, to interrupt, even just for an instant, their inseparable connection with the heart and all the emotions that live within it.
In those "two sides of the coin", the trio from Garda identifies the profound meaning of the journey, telling how sometimes, a breath of "wind in the face" can be able to make us "feel freer", becoming the key to overcoming the "white line" that separates us from ourselves, from the achievement not so much of a utopian constant happiness, but of the freedom to truly be who we are - "we will return freer" -, with our weaknesses and our strengths.
With this new release, in which the often polarized concepts of reflection and lightness merge into an impeccable impressionistic picture with psychedelic electro-pop-rock lines, 3nema reconfirm the mission they began in 2020 with their first full-length project of the same name, what they themselves define as the “3nema way”: a continuous musical research to amaze listeners more and more, with energetic and decisive passages of sound dimensions, all embellished with funky nuances and the desire to tell their story to get straight to the heart of the audience.
Biography
3nema is a trio with roots in Garda born in 2020, a band capable of making their music an enchanting impressionistic painting of pop, rock and electronic, with well-placed and decisive psychedelic brushstrokes to amaze and disorientate the listener, giving life to a continuous and refined sound innovation. After the successful debut with "Non voglio ritorno", they released "Verità", the title track of their first full length project, consisting of 10 songs. A debut album that traces the musical furrow in which the band wants to continue to follow its own path, with a mission well imprinted in the heart, mind and pen from which engaging lyrics and pentagrams of meticulous sound compositions arise: the "3nema Way", as they define it, a continuous musical research to surprise and involve those who listen to them more and more, wrapped in melodic clothes sewn from different genres and vibrant contaminations taken from funky.
2022 marks their entry into the prestigious Milanese label PaKo Music Records, with which they release the single “Psychedelic”, a journey through genres and sounds that takes the listener outside of themselves, to discover, know and find themselves again. Original, exciting and endowed with a rare communication ability, 3nema draw from their daily personal experiences to give voice to moods and feelings, leaving an indelible imprint of their passage in the hearts of those who listen to them.
