The Camorra dictates the law on everything and in the public housing districts it manages the occupations of the housing. Even with force and arrogance and does not allow replies even via social networks.
In Naples, in the 'Amicizia' district, a family was kicked out of their home by people close to local organized crime circles, as also reported by journalist Pino Grazioli.
The father of the family, who filed a complaint, appears to have been approached by several individuals, both men and women, who first threatened him and then physically attacked him for some affronts that his sister allegedly committed against criminal circles.
According to the reconstruction of the facts and the words of the victims, the man was violently attacked, with kicks and punches to the face, by ten people. From what we learn, the violence was triggered by two reasons: the first concerns some videos published on Tik Tok by the man's sister, ironic videos in which she would make fun of several people in the neighborhood, a matter that would have unleashed the wrath of the clans.
The second concerns a 'snub' committed by the family years before, when they had occupied a house, on the floor below the current residence, which belonged to a deceased person. An action that provoked the reaction of the 'zon boss' son who, with threats, ordered them to leave that house, believing it was his.
But the main reason, as declared and reported by the victims, is that these Camorristi would have the objective of taking possession of the home of this family. After the complaint, now the family, as they reported, has been assigned special surveillance.
“The perspective and drift that we experience every day with respect to illegal building is unacceptable and creates an absurd situation of moral and social degradation. We note that, in some areas of the city, crime is free to dispose of public housing as it wants. We are in the Wild West, everyone feels entitled to do what they want. They enter, exit, occupy, destroy, chase other people away, attack, without consequences.
This story is just the latest in an endless series. A total and extremely dangerous anarchy, which has now become 'law' in these areas, where the Camorra rules. The strongest wins, the weak, without rights, succumb. There the State is totally absent and this creates surreal situations.
We need concrete intervention by the institutions in the gray areas, we need to make the strong presence of the State felt by those who have been wallowing in illegality for years without retaliation. We need to make them understand that the authorities are there and breathing down their necks”, the words of the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
