Returns to the Regional Council of Campania Giovanni Savastano, suspended in October 2021 for his involvement in an investigation by the Salerno Prosecutor's Office into alleged rigged tenders and electoral corruption.
Giovanni Savastano, of the majority council group “Campania Libera”, an offshoot of the movement of the same name founded by governor Vincenzo De Luca, had been placed under house arrest, which was then revoked last July.
In today's session, the President of the Campania Regional Council Gennaro Oliviero announced the return of Councilor Savastano and therefore the termination of the substitution by Councilor Aniello Fiore.
