Clashes after the derby with Paganese: 19 Casertana fans on trial. The trial concerns events that occurred in 2016 in Pagani
There are 19 Casertana fans for whom the Nocera Inferiore Prosecutor's Office has ordered a summons for the clashes at the end of Paganese-Casertana on 11 September 2016.
According to the reconstruction of the Prosecutor's Office, all of them would have taken part in the acts of violence at the end of the football match. In particular, near the parking lot of the away sector and along the way to the highway, they would have thrown sticks and belts for trousers, thus assuming violent and provocative attitudes such as to create a concrete danger for people.
For many of these, Daspos were issued, that is, to participate in sporting events for 5 years, except for some Casertana fans. Prohibition measures, among other things, already served. The then mayor of Pagani, Salvatore Bottone, wrote a very harsh letter to the Prefect of Salerno for the post-match episodes that occurred after the Paganese – Casertana match. “Unjustifiable acts” that the mayor in an outburst wanted to illustrate in the letter.
