Construction company linked to the Mallardo clan seized by the DIA: 7 relatives of the deceased clan leader investigated. They also collected a monthly rent of 5 thousand euros from the front man.
This morning, the Anti-Mafia Investigation Directorate, a branch of the Department of Public Security, executed the preventive seizure of the share capital and the entire business assets of a construction company in Giugliano in Campania, ordered by decree issued by the GIP at the Court of Naples, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples - District Anti-Mafia Directorate.
The aforementioned provision was notified to seven people investigated for the crime of fictitious ownership of assets aggravated by mafia methods since the company, formally registered in the name of a person with no criminal record, was in fact at the disposal of one of the heads of the Mallardo clan, operating in Giugliano in Campania and neighboring municipalities, confederated with the Contini and Licciardi clans in the so-called “Secondigliano Alliance”.
Following the death of the clan leader, the de facto ownership of the company was acquired by his heirs who also received the profits, which is why they are under investigation.
