A violent incident involving two 17 year olds, one victim and the other 'executioner', committed at the end of physical education class, last Friday, at the Salvemini high school in Sorrento, in the province of Napoli.
After the gym class, the boys went to the locker room of the school gym. Here one of them set fire to the stream of deodorant spray with a lighter. The burned boy was helped by the teachers.
Maybe just a prank, maybe the accident could be linked to a 'fire spray challenge', the latest crazy challenge that is spreading among young people with numerous videos published on TikTok that involves setting fire to alcohol spray. An ambulance from 118 arrived at the school and transported the 17-year-old, who is in his fourth year of high school, to the Santa Maria della Misericordia hospital.
Doctors admitted him with first and second degree burns on his face and body, injuries that could permanently scar his face. The investigation is being entrusted to the police, who have already reconstructed the story.
