Driving around Castellammare selling drugs on a scooter: caught by the Carabinieri and arrested.
The arrest for drugs was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Castellammare di Stabia radiomobile section who snapped the handcuffs on the wrists of Simone Chierchia, a 22-year-old local man accused of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
When the military ordered him to stop, the young man was riding his scooter. He didn't hesitate for a moment and threw away a plastic container. The carabinieri saw everything, stopped the 22-year-old and recovered the container. Inside were 11 doses of cocaine. Chierchia was placed under house arrest, awaiting trial.
Instead the carabinieri of the station Cicciano and of the dog training unit of Sarno arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing Emanuela Di Giuseppe, a 25-year-old local already known to the police.

The drug-sniffing dogs' sense of smell did not fail and in the young woman's home they recognized the unmistakable smell of hashish. She was hidden in the kitchen extractor hood.

The drugs were also found with 190 euros in cash believed to be illicit proceeds, packaging material for the doses and a precision scale. The woman is now under house arrest, waiting to tell the judge her version of the facts.
