“Stabia Renatas”, the appointments in the villas of Stabia are closed. Critical and public success for the theatrical visits. President Verdoliva: “Making these events stable”
“Stabia Renatas” ended with critical and public success, the series of theatrical visits that, over the last two weekends, brought about 500 spectators to Villa Arianna and Villa San Marco in Castellammare di Stabia. The events were financed by Scabec, organized by the Fondazione del Parco dei Monti Lattari led by the president, lawyer Mariella Verdoliva, in collaboration with Campania By Night and sponsored by the Campania Region, the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, and the Liceo Classico Plinio seniore of Castellammare di Stabia.
Spectators and tourists were enthusiastic, during the four evenings scheduled, for the production entrusted to the Monti Lattari Foundation, in collaboration with Piccola Città Teatro and Vocazioni Creative.
“We are extremely happy to have contributed to the creation of a series of events of the highest artistic quality that have had the merit of further enhancing the archaeological excavations of Stabia – explains the lawyer Mariella Verdoliva, president of the Monti Lattari Foundation – The requests were much higher than the availability of places and this makes us proud. Our goal, now, is to aim for a scheduling of these events that must be inserted into a stable tourist circuit capable of bringing even more people to our territories".
“A project desired and built together with our partners that we have achieved in these weeks – declares Gabriele Saurio, director of the events – the one at Villa Arianna was a more intimate journey, a tale of the voices of the people. We created an event as if we were seeing inside a forum the lives lived within the walls of the ancient city, a wonderful collection of emotions. Stabia Renatas traces an indelible line that the public has welcomed and promoted. I hope there can be other events like these”.
