Both had ended up in the sights of the Public Prosecutor's Office for the affair of the altered values for waste weighing, with consequent burden on the municipal coffers Caserta and Maddaloni.

According to the prosecution, Iavazzi allegedly altered the weighing system of the vehicles arriving at the two plants (Impresud and Ecologia Iavazzi) in order to certify a quantity of waste far greater than that actually transported, with evident burden on the municipal coffers of the municipalities of Caserta, San Nicola la Strada and Maddaloni.
