The office of the agency for the management of public housing (Acer) was occupied
This morning, trade unions and associations of tenants of public housing in Campania symbolically occupied the Office of the President of Acer, the regional agency for the management of public residential housing.
Sunia-Sicet-Uniat and Assocasa have long been denouncing the company's inability to meet tenants' needs, both with regard to ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and with regard to administrative procedures such as transfers, amnesties, installment payments and sales.
“The current organization of Acer – the trade unions stated in a note – is absolutely inadequate and, although a change of direction of the structure had been proposed for some time, up to now there has been no sign of improvement”.
The occupation ended after a meeting of union representatives with the chairman of the board of directors, David Lebro, during which it was agreed to organize an urgent meeting for tomorrow, with the presence of the company's top management to address all the issues raised by the unions. Sunia-Sicet-Uniat and Assocasa announced that they will continue their mobilization "until there are adequate answers to resolve the tenants' problems".
