The parents, after the first days of dismay, decided to report the incident to the Public Prosecutor's Office to shed full light on the incident. They want to understand what during childbirth caused the baby's death.
The young woman, as she also reported in the complaint filed with the police, was admitted to the Villa del Sole clinic in Caserta for a natural birth. The pregnancy was now at its end and the baby was just waiting to be born.
However, the contractions were not sufficient and the gynecologist decided to induce labor, about 36 hours after admission. The baby died as soon as it was born. An autopsy has already been performed on the little body and we are waiting to see if the autopsy can clarify any doubts.
