Villaricca, without a helmet and driving the wrong way, died in an accident: mural removed. For the Naples Metropolitan Police it was a “symbol of illegality”.
In Villaricca, a mural depicting a young man who died in a car accident while driving the wrong way and without a helmet has been removed.
The removal, as stated in a note from the Metropolitan Police, “it was also immediate to prevent the mural from becoming a symbol of local illegality”. Investigators will establish the nature of the mural. The investigation activities entrusted by the Prosecutor's Office of Naples North to the Metropolitan Police are underway.
“At the time of removal – concludes the note from the Metropolitan Police command – on site were present the Prefect Scialla, the Commander of the Metropolitan Police Lucia Rea, the Director of the Giugliano Police Station, and the Commander of the Villaricca Municipal Police. The operations were carried out under the control of the police forces".
This morning's demolition, carried out at first light in via Cavara n. 32, is the ninth of the eleven targets identified. The Local Police intervened together with the "'Napoli Servizi' with the assistance of the State Police.
