He showed up at a shop on Via Giacinto Gigante and tried to buy an electric bike by taking out a loan.
At the time of the contract, he handed over a false identity card and pay slip, registered to a 58-year-old from Reggio Calabria. The shopkeepers understood the malicious intentions of the "customer" and discreetly alerted the 112.
Sanzari was arrested and locked up in a holding cell, awaiting trial with a direct trial. The Carabinieri are trying to ascertain whether the man has been the protagonist of other scams of this kind.
