"With each passing day, Senator Claudio Lotito 's conflict of interest becomes more evident . In a binge of amendments, he has signed 158 of them ," Democratic MP Mauro Berruto declared.

“After attempting to replace the instalment plan for tax debts with an interest-free wipeout for football clubs, he then tried to give another two years to the controversial operator DAZN , now he is back at it again with the growth decree, demanding discounts and tax breaks for the purchase of foreign players, in contempt of the growth of youth teams and the protection of young Italian footballers, ” adds Berruto.

"Who knows what his government allies who make sovereignism a banner think. These are not the reforms that Italian football needs, but measures without any systemic vision, as well as gifts for some President who, incapable of virtuous policies, asks for state aid".
“The tax breaks for foreigners should be completely eliminated because up to now they have only impoverished Italian football without increasing its competitiveness and have favored foreign transactions that are more like trading operations than transfer market operations.”
“I trust in the work of Minister Abodi , who certainly knows that the 'Lotito recipe' is not the one that will bring Italian football back to the top of the world, both in terms of results and dignity ,” concludes Berruto.
