On Saturday 28th January, from 21.00pm, music returns to the forefront at Nostos Teatro with an exclusive for 2023: DANJLO on his POST INTERNET TOUR.
In the magic box of Nostos in Aversa, Danjlo will record his album again, it will be a unique event, a collective and emotional gestation.
“Nella Testa dello Scemo” is the first single from the album. Released a few days ago, it reveals the concept of the album based on the point of view of various characters. The first is the perfect protagonist of this post-2000s world, where robotics has failed, and human brains have lost the habit of thinking, of understanding.
On “In the Head of a Fool” Danjlo states: “We are in a color palette of earth, rust, desolate spaces, halogen lights, valves, old computers, abandoned buildings, copper. A world where the Internet has gone dark and only organic things remain.”
The single is accompanied by a minimal, live video with a clear rock connotation.
The song, and all the unreleased material from the next album, will be presented live at NOSTOS.
The full live lineup is composed of Danilo Turco, vocals, Jonathan Maurano on drums, Dimitri Tetta on synthesizers, Eduardo Mazza and Enzo De Lucia on guitars.
DANJLO, pseudonym of Danilo Turco, is a producer, author, composer, sound designer, director, with a career that began early and that made him known as one of the most eclectic and talented artists of his generation. From his participation as a sound designer in the collective The Jackal where, at just 19 years old, he gave a fundamental contribution in the creation of the artistic imagery that made them famous, to writing for Almamegretta, for whom he wrote and composed some songs included in "Senghe" latest album (2022) of the Neapolitan band, (his is the first single extracted "Figlio" of which he also curated the conception and direction of the video and the direction of the video of "Make it Work", second track extracted from the album), DANJLO has gone through collaborations that in various capacities have seen him participate in projects with Cirque Du Soleil, Frank Matano, Le Iene, Management (ex Management del Dolore Post operatorio).
