" Prince Gallery of Naples is in a surreal condition. The structure is entirely owned by the Municipality that after millions of euros spent has abandoned it to decay. From the damaged skylight and missing panes it rains inside.
The pavement, in several places, is flooded and large puddles are forming. Near the roof, thanks to the water infiltrations, luxuriant bushes of wild vegetation grow and the rooms are almost all closed and abandoned.
A spontaneous vertical garden is even forming on the monument. It could be managed differently but it is not wanted. We ask that something be done as soon as possible because the degradation is unstoppable”, said Francesco Emilio Borrelli, deputy of Alleanza Verdi – Sinistra who went to the Galleria for an inspection.
