A 37-year-old was arrested in Orta di Atella because he was caught at home by the police with several doses of drugs and 7500 euros in cash believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The blitz by the Carabinieri was triggered after a brief observation service that allowed them to note the coming and going of customers at the 37-year-old's home; once inside, the soldiers, with the help of the dogs of the Sarno (Salerno) Dog Unit, found 64 grams of drugs and the large sum of cash, as well as scales to weigh the drugs. The man was then arrested and taken to the Naples prison of Poggioreale.
