A sixteen-year-old from Caltanissetta was admitted to intensive care after sniffing glue. The minor arrived at the emergency room of Sant'Elia Hospital on Thursday evening with a yellow code with difficulty breathing and bronchostenosis, a narrowing of the bronchial tube.
The doctor on duty, suspicious of the symptoms, repeatedly asked the boy if he had inhaled something and in the end the sixteen-year-old admitted to having sniffed glue. Given the patient's condition, he was transferred to the intensive care unit of the Umberto I hospital in Enna. The doctor also notified the police who are investigating the incident.
