Possession with intent to distribute narcotics, aggravated by the large quantity. On this charge, the Guardia di Finanza arrested Gaetano Montera, 26, from Acquaro (a town in the Viobonese province), who was transporting over ten kilos of cocaine (10,624 kilos) in a Citroën Picasso.
The arrest occurred in a parking lot on the Salerno -Reggio Calabria highway. The cocaine was divided into ten cellophane blocks wrapped in electrical tape and hidden in the false bottom of a car seat. The arrest was validated by the investigating judge of the Castrovillari Court.
