The band led by Dario Sansone returns to perform in Naples on Valentine's Day.

The live show will be the last one for the historic guitarist Ennio Frongillo who leaves the band.
Many special guests will take part in the show: Isa Danieli, Francesco Di Bella, Lorenzo Hengeller, Michele Signore, Caterina Bianco and Viola Russo from the aerial dance company FUNA.

In the foyer of the Bellini Theater, an exhibition dedicated to the 12 songs from the latest album curated by the Italian School of Comix.

Six months after their last concert in their city, Foja are back to perform live and the date at the prestigious Teatro Bellini is already sold out.
The group led by Dario Sansone has the privilege of having played in the most exclusive locations in Naples: Teatro San Carlo, Arena Flegrea, Castel Sant'Elmo, Museo di Capodimonte, Palazzo Reale and now in one of the greatest theaters in Campania.

The appointment on Tuesday 14 February, starting at 21 pm, is a very important occasion for several reasons: with the closing of the winter tour that began with the release of the latest album “Miracoli e Rivoluzioni” the musical adventure of the historic guitarist Ennio Frongillo ends, who will say goodbye to his companions and the audience that has always supported him. Furthermore, the concert falls on a special day that coincides with the strong love that Foja have for their city and for the historic fans who have supported the band for years now. It will be an evening full of love from every point of view.

As is the style of the group, there could not be a lack of special guests who will take turns on stage to play, sing, dance and act. Alongside the quintet formed by Dario Sansone (vocals), Ennio Frongillo (guitar), Luigi Scialdone (guitars and mandolin), Giuliano Falcone (bass) and Giovanni Schiattarella (drums) we will find the great actress Isa Danieli, protagonist of the latest video "Santa Lucia", who will give an "unpublished" performance; Francesco Di Bella frontman of 24 Grana, Lorenzo Hengeller (pianist singer-songwriter), Michele Signore (violinist of the Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare), Caterina Bianco (violinist and keyboardist of Fanali e Passione Tour) and Viola Russo of the aerial dance company FUNA.

Another surprise for the eight hundred lucky ticket holders is the exhibition curated by the Italian School of Comix, which has always been linked to the band. In the foyer of the theater, twelve tables with animated illustrations created by the students of the school and dedicated to the individual songs contained in the latest album will be exhibited.

“We can't wait to close the national tour that has filled our souls with affection in our beloved Naples, an evening of intense love awaits us, full of guests and emotions. – declares Dario Sansone – Su of a stage full of history and poetry like that of the Teatro Bellini, in front of our wonderful audience we will have the opportunity to worthily bid farewell to our historic guitarist Ennio, giving him credit with a great party. This event will close only a part of the tour of “Miracoli e Rivoluzioni” while waiting for the summer concerts that will see us take our songs around with a new line-up.”

This Foja concert will be a long excursus in the varied and colorful past and present repertoire with a particular attention to the latest album from which five singles have been extracted with as many videos.

The latest, in chronological order, is the splendid “Santa Lucia”, published last November 22, 2022 featuring Clementino and the extraordinary participation of Isa Danieli

Without a doubt, the exponents of the new sound of the Neapolitan folk tradition, Foja are well-known in Italy and abroad and have released four studio albums, participated in several soundtracks of animated feature films. They have been nominated for the David di Donatello and the Nastri d'Argento as best original song, and have collaborated with international artists such as Pauline Croze, La Pegatina, Shaun Ferguson, Weslie, Black Noyze, Alejandro Romero.
They put their soul into everything they do. Each album is a journey into a very rich, visionary and mixed culture, elements of artistic and human wealth and growth.

MIRACLES AND REVOLUTIONS – The album

MIRACLES AND REVOLUTIONS is the new album by FOJA, released in April 2022. In this latest work there are many collaborations with guests who shared the miracle of a fragment, of a creative spark: ENZO GRAGNANIELLO, unmistakable voice and soul, present in a very profound “'Nmiezo a Niente”; DAVIDE TOFFOLO of TRE ALLEGRI RAGAZZI MORTI, voice and authority in the ironic and reflective “A cosa stai pensare?”; CLEMENTINO, who puts his flow at the service of a heartbreaking ballad like “Santa Lucia”; the piano of LORENZO HENGELLER who frees ten fingers full of swing in the intense “Stella”; the poetry of ALESSIO SOLLO in “L'Urdema Canzone”; ALEJANDRO ROMERO, international guest in the Neapolitan reinterpretation of a classic like “A mano 'e D10S”, dedicated with heart, soul and bandoneon to Diego Armando Maradona, to his sporting and human revolution.

And finally ALESSANDRO RAK and his illustrations, the poetic genius of stories like “Yaya and Lennie – The Walking Liberty”, the animated feature film by Mad Entertainment from which “Duje comme nuje” is taken, a song about absolute love included in the soundtrack of the latest work by the Neapolitan director, linked to the leader of Foja Dario Sansone by a decade-long friendship and collaboration.

“Miracoli e Rivoluzioni” is sensitivity, commitment, pure passion, a project that delivers an imaginary that must only be experienced, with that freedom and creativity that make Foja one of the most important Neapolitan bands of the last twenty years, authors of a stylistic revolution that has elevated the new Neapolitan music by putting it in relation with the sounds of today and the vision of tomorrow.
