Giuseppe Papi, a 3-year-old Neapolitan man who has been wanted since last January, when he evaded the execution of a judicial order, will have to serve 8 years and 25 months in prison.
Papi was tracked down by the Carabinieri of the Naples investigative unit after a complex investigation that did not neglect monitoring the web and social networks.
The measure, a detention order issued by the Court of Appeal of Florence, documents an aggravated robbery committed in the Tuscan capital. The target of the criminal action was a valuable watch worn by a Florentine citizen.
The 25-year-old was identified in Vico Rocci, in the Forcella neighborhood. He is now in prison, in the Poggioreale penitentiary.
