This is what Omar, 20, the target of the shots that instead killed Thomas Bricca in Alatri, in the province of Frosinone, said. The young man yesterday told his version – which the carabinieri already know – in a live Instagram from his profile, a live broadcast that was picked up by the newspaper Il Messaggero.
The boy says he's "as lonely as a dog" and talks "every day with Thomas , I swear I hear him talking back to me." He also says that on Saturday evening, seven people allegedly beat an Egyptian boy, in front of everyone—families and children—because he talked back in Arabic.
He wanted to file a report but was told to come back the following Monday. Meanwhile, investigators are searching for the killers and insiders. A bullet has apparently been located. The ambush was carefully planned.
