The Court of Naples has sentenced three former members of the examining commission of the Capri tourist port , a company owned by the Municipality , to one year of imprisonment (suspended sentence) for falsifying a report.

The three defendants – the former general manager of the tourist port, Fabrizio De Maddi , the then member of the board of directors Costantino Esposito and the consultant Luigi De Martino – were instead acquitted of the charges of abuse of office.
Investigators are targeting the work of the examining commission for the hiring of qualified personnel to be employed at the tourist maritime port.
The facts of 2016: the complaint of one of the excluded
The facts date back to 2016 and the investigation was launched following complaints filed by some of those excluded, one in particular, who joined the civil action : the court awarded him compensation for damages to be settled elsewhere.
