The photos showing a horse on the porch in Avellino have gone viral on the web, so much so that the mayor went to the place at the request of the Green MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
“We have been informed from several quarters of a story, posted on social media by 'Welcome to favelas', that is said to be incredible. In Avellino, in the Parco district, for days a man has been keeping a horse on a veranda, both day and night.
An absurd, immoral and totally crazy thing. We immediately asked the mayor Gianluca Festa to carry out an inspection of the area to verify if what was reported corresponds to the reality of the facts. At 16:30 pm on Sunday the horse does not seem to be there, even though there is a suspicious shape.
For this reason we have asked for further investigation, also from the authorities, to get to the bottom of this story and understand if the horse is or was actually there, or if it was just a photomontage. We will continue to follow the story”.
This was stated by Francesco Emilio Borrelli, a member of the Green Left Alliance, who, after the report, took action to shed light on the facts.
