The Court of Bari, confirming its position, ordered Banca Popolare di Bari to return the sums charged for the sale of its shares to a small farmer from Eboli who is a member of the Association.
In particular, today's ruling signed by Judge Paola Cesaroni accepted the defense of her lawyer Domenico Romito and ordered the termination of the contract due to a lack of correspondence between the low risk profile of the plaintiff (interested only in investments capable of protecting capital) and the security that presented a high risk of loss of capital (not communicated) as unfortunately occurred with the total loss of capital following the well-known events involving the Banca Pugliese.
The challenge of the inadequacy of the sale of the securities, common to most of the pending cases brought by other former clients of the Bank, allows us to be optimistic about the positive outcome of the other pending cases awaiting the decision.
