Camorra, 50 million euros seized from entrepreneurs accomplices of super-narco Raffaele Imperiale

Attack on the accomplices of the super narcos Raphael Imperial: the National Anti-Mafia Prosecutor's Office has in fact seized the assets of the Fontana brothers of Villa Literno.

Soldiers of the Provincial Commands of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples and Caserta and the Carabinieri Group for the Protection of the Environment of Naples are executing a seizure order issued by the Section for the Application of Preventive Measures of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, upon request for an increase in the measure of judicial control advanced by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples - District Anti-Mafia Directorate - and by the National Prosecutor's Office Anti-mafia, against Giovanni Fontana and Michele Fontana, entrepreneurs from Villa Literno carrying out road freight transport and waste management activities.

The measure was adopted following the revocation of the judicial control of a company of the aforementioned individuals, as in the meantime multiple factual elements emerged against them which were suitable for establishing a judgment of social dangerousness and for leading to the belief that their assets had been created and increased over the years thanks to illicit activities.

The preventive seizure is based, first of all, on the order of precautionary custody in prison issued in November by the GIP of the Court of Naples against Fontana Giovanni for international drug trafficking, following the investigations conducted against the organization of the well-known drug trafficker. Imperial Raphael.

From the analysis of the material acquired following the decryption of the systems Eurochat and Sky ECC It emerged that in 2021 Fontana made a warehouse available to Imperiale's gang to hide 600 kg of cocaine inside two containers headed to Australia.

During the interrogations carried out after the execution of the precautionary measure, Imperiale confirmed Fontana's involvement in the aforementioned operation with Australia and described other illicit trafficking carried out with the collaboration of the entrepreneur from Literno: first two transport operations from Brazil, between 2008 and 2010, of a total of 6.000 kg of cocaine and, subsequently, between 2017 and 2021, around ten transports fromNetherlands when, feeling the need to equip himself with efficient and reliable hauliers, he decided to contact Fontana again through Bears Daniele (also arrested in November).

The latter confirmed the circumstance during the interrogation of December 13, 2022. For the aforementioned activities, according to what was declared by Imperiale, Fontana would have received compensation of over 7 million euros.

In the judgment of social dangerousness of Giovanni Fountain The precedents for robbery, theft and weapons also contributed, as did the declarations of two collaborators of justice, former leading figures of the factions Schiavone and Zagaria of the Casalesi clan, who described him as an entrepreneur in collusion with the group of Zagaria Michele.

Strong evidence to formulate a judgment of social dangerousness has also been found with regard to Michael Fountain, burdened by a criminal record and linked to his brother Giovanni by corporate ties that led him to fully share not only the commercial strategies but also those of an illicit nature, as emerged from the checks on the management of transport companies and waste treatment plants by the two brothers.

The asset investigations have highlighted a clear disproportion, in the period 2002-2021, between the incomes of the two entrepreneurs and their respective families and their relative possessions.

Hence the seizure carried out today, having as its object the company shares and assets of 8 companies, 120 properties including buildings and land, 6 cars/motorcycles, as well as the blocking of banking and financial relationships, for a total value of over 50 million euro.
