The Carabinieri of the ROS and the Financiers of the Provincial Command of Caserta have implemented a patrimonial prevention measure with seizure of movable and immovable property, issued by the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere Prevention Measures Section on the proposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples.
The measure arises from investigations, including those of a financial nature, conducted by the Special Operations Group of the Carabinieri and the GdF Company of Marcianise, delegated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Napoli, in the direction of an entrepreneur from Caserta.
60 million euros seized: a supermarket chain with 21 stores in the province of Caserta
On whose account the investigations have allowed to acquire qualified evidence regarding his personal dangerousness and the illicit formation of his activities, considering his proximity to the Belforte clan and the Casalesi clan – Zagaria Group, owner of eight companies operating in the province of Caserta, active in the real estate, construction and large-scale distribution and wholesale trade of food products sectors, which includes a chain of supermarkets with 21 stores in the province of Caserta.
The provision orders the seizure of current accounts, company shares and related capital goods, for an estimated value of approximately 60 million euros.
