During the days of the 2023 Italian Song Festival, some members of the organizing team of the Penisola Sorrentina Award met and gathered to outline the programmatic lines of the Award dedicated to cinema and music, scheduled for next autumn in Sorrento. The organizational board and juries will be appointed by the end of March.
Sanremo, February 28, 2023 – That events are an extraordinary communication tool and an opportunity for meetings, relationships, opportunities for socializing, fun and learning. A notion that is too well known in the literature dedicated to marketing policies to escape the team project of the “Penisola Sorrentina” Award, led by Mario Esposito.
The showcase of Casa Sanremo, the masterclasses, the meetings with record producers and journalists in the Sanremo hotels that dot the Riviera, are places within places and are often better suited to the needs of companies and organizations that intend to build or launch a new product, promote a service and an idea.
In Sanremo, the patron of the Penisola Sorrentina Award, Mario Esposito, participated in exclusive and private moments, together with Ida Greco, Viridiana Myriam Salerno, Massimo Marramao, meeting journalists, producers, directors and managers in public relations services.
Among the guests found in Sanremo, protagonists of the Penisola Sorrentina Award, also the jazz musician Danilo Rea, president of the Penisola Sorrentina award for the music and cinema section, who accompanied Gino Paoli on the piano during the final evening; and then Lino Guanciale, who held a very interesting masterclass inside the showcase of Casa Sanremo Writers, the manager Andrea Dulio and Leo Gassmann, who with “Terzo Cuore” struck and enthused the public and critics.
“Leo Gassmann never ceases to amaze with his cultured and mature youth,” says Mario Esposito, patron of the Premio Penisola Sorrentina. “His single “Terzo Cuore,” written and produced with Riccardo Zanotti, is a song full of poetry and musical sensitivity that, after his performance at the Sanremo Festival, opened the doors to his new concept experience inspired by Willis George Emerson’s novel, The Smoky God.”
“Particularly stimulating – continues Mario Esposito – was also the Sanremo meeting with Pietro Foresti, a multi-platinum producer trained in Los Angeles with names that revolve around rock icons, such as Guns n' Roses, Counting Crows, just to name a few. Foresti arranged and produced some singles by Narihlù, the singer from Campania distributed by Universal Music that we christened last year for a special project of ours. We were pleased to meet Narihlù again at the Palafiori, the protagonist of a showcase at Casa Sanremo in the Mango room, where she presented her new single: “Cuore (lo ammetto)”.
The Penisola Sorrentina Award has proven to be a lever to enhance cultural resources and promote the territory even within kermesse and large national events, with the aim of adding value, redrawing the map of national artistic and cultural contacts and creating new relationships, accelerating the processes of change and attracting investments.
