Last night the agents of the Portici-Ercolano police station, during the territorial control service, at the disposal of the Operations Centre, intervened in via Benedetto Cozzolino in Ercolano for a report of a robbery near a commercial establishment.
The police officers, who arrived on the scene, were approached by the owner of the shop who said that he had been approached by a car with two people on board, including a woman who, by threatening him with a gun, had made him hand over some money.
The shopkeeper, with the help of a family member who came to his rescue, in an attempt to recover the sum had had a fight with the woman who had dropped the gun and the money on the ground.
Finally, the latter got into the car, which was being driven by a man, and disappeared without a trace.
Thanks to the descriptions provided, the officers located the car on Via delle Mortelle in Ercolano and observed the driver entering a farmhouse. Upon seeing the officers, the man attempted to escape by pushing the officers until he was stopped. The woman, however, was located in the building.
PB, 34, and AT, 30, both from Naples with criminal records, were arrested for aggravated robbery, assault, and resisting arrest. The gun, a Bruni replica without the red cap, and the car were seized.
