On the stage of the Salvo D'Acquisto Auditorium in via Morghen, Saturday 11 February 2023, the musical review “VomeroSuona” continues with the trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso and his Quartet who will pay homage to the great Stevie Wonder (who recently performed with special guests at the 2023 Grammy Awards) with the show “We Wonder”.

The energy and vitality that characterize Stevie Wonder's unmistakable style, the expressive power of his most famous ballads, together with the technique and unique lyricism of Fabrizio Bosso's trumpet, the care of the arrangements and the musical personality of each musician in the quartet, are all elements that make this concert unique and unrepeatable. The repertoire includes some of Wonder's most significant songs, drawing on a very broad repertoire that spans a period from the late Sixties to the last release in 2004: Another Star, Isn't She Lovely, My Cherie Amour, but also Sir Duke and Moon Blue are just some of the songs that will be performed live. Of course, Overjoyed will also be there, released as a single on all digital platforms and which anticipated the release of the new album for Warner Music.

This was not a random choice, because Overjoyed also talks about dreams that come true. It is, in fact, a “very happy” Fabrizio Bosso, the one who interprets the music of Stevie Wonder, his idol since he began to play the first notes on the trumpet, but who with this new project also renews the choice he made when he was little more than a teenager, that is, to become a musician.

Fabrizio Bosso's trumpet, Julian Oliver Mazzariello's piano, Jacopo Ferrazza's bass and double bass, Nicola Angelucci's drums, are the absolute protagonists of a tribute to the music of one of the most iconic artists of all time.

For two years, the “Vomero Suona” festival has been trying to fill a void that has always been felt in Naples with regard to the offering of jazz music during the winter season, particularly in the Vomero district, where, despite a resident population of over 150.000, the facilities capable of offering an opportunity for significant cultural enrichment, entertainment for young people and social gathering during the winter period are practically non-existent, even before the outbreak of the pandemic, which has only worsened the existing situation.
