“'Unfortunately abortion is a right', yes but I didn't say it, a minister said it. Sometimes I also spew bullshit to the four winds but I don't do it at the expense of taxpayers”.
Thus Fedez in the song sung at Sanremo seems to refer to the statements of the Minister for Equal Opportunities Eugenia Roccella.
“If Rosa Chemical goes to Sanremo, a fight will break out, maybe the vice-minister dressed as Hitler would be better, unfortunately abortion is a right but I didn't say that, a minister said it (Eugenia Roccella, ed.)”.
The words of Fedez's song, a guest from the Costa Smeralda at the Festival of Sanremo, who at the end of the performance tore up the photo of the vice-minister Galeazzo Bignami, in a black shirt.
Chiara Ferragni's husband also dedicated his song to Gianluca Vialli. At the end of the performance he told Amadeus that he wanted to “take full responsibility for what I did: the lyrics of the song had not been announced to the Rai staff present here”.
Fedez's attack on vice minister Bignami
The text refers to the criticisms made by FdI MP Maddalena Morgante to the presence of Rosa Chemical at the festival, defined as "yet another advert in favour of gender and fluid sexuality, very sensitive issues that Fratelli d'Italia has always opposed".
The photo torn by Fedez at the end of the performance is an old image of Bignami, dating back, according to what the FdI representative himself reported, to the early 2000s, taken during his bachelor party. The shot, which portrays him with a Nazi swastika on his arm, was released by the media during the campaign for the Emilia-Romagna regional elections in 2016.
