It was inaugurated this morning, in the great hall of Coverciano, the new course UEFA A. Until next May 10th the students will follow, in the classrooms and on the fields of the Federal Technical Center, the 192 hours of program didactic.
UEFA A course for coaches starts in Coverciano
At the end of the lessons, in case of positive outcome of the final exams – which will cover all subjects – the students will obtain the qualification da allenatore UEFA A, which represents the second highest training step for a technician.
With this certificate, recognised at European level, it is possible to drive all the youth teams (including the Spring) and all women's formations (including those participating in the championship of Serie A).
It is also possible to be a coach of the first teams male up to Serie C and be registered as coaches in second in the two top leagues, that is, both in Serie A in that Serie B. Among the students there are also the match analysts of the men's national teams Under 21 e Under 18, Leonardo Carletti e Andrea Zappavigna.
Many well-known faces of Italian football were present
There is also no shortage of well-known names in Italian football, such as (just to name a few, in alphabetical order): the former captain of Catania, Marco Biagianti; the assistant of coach Calzona in the Slovakian national team, Simone Bonomi; the former midfielders of Fiorentina and Empoli, Sandro Cois e Daniel Cross, and the former Bologna defender, Andrea Costa.
Moving forward we find the former defender of Fiorentina and Chievo, Dario Dainelli; the former Lazio striker Sergio Floccari; the former captain of Sassuolo, Francis Magnanelli; the former defender of Atalanta and Sassuolo, Federico Peluso; the former Siena defender, Claudius Terzi, and the former Brescia player, Marco Zambelli.
