Gennaro Miranda is the new president of the Vesuvius Villas Foundation.
Ercolanese, economist and municipal councilor of Ercolano for five councils, Miranda was unanimously elected today in Villa Campolieto by the members of the new management board appointed by ministerial decree on January 13, 2023 by Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano and which includes Valeria Della Rocca, Alfonso Gifuni, Carmine Ippolito, Elena Scarlato.
The new president succeeds Gianluca Del Mastro, professor of Papyrology and Philology at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli and mayor of Pomigliano D'Arco.
“My thanks go to Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano for his appointment to the management board of the Fondazione Ente Ville Vesuviane and to all the councilors for having elected me president,” declares Miranda.
"I also thank Professor Del Mastro for the excellent work done in these years. As a citizen of Ercolano and as a profound connoisseur of this territory, I will commit myself to continue the work of valorizing our extraordinary artistic and architectural heritage in the name of culture".

The Fondazione Ente Ville Vesuviane, whose headquarters are in Villa Campolieto in Ercolano, has the aim of providing for the conservation, restoration and enhancement of the artistic heritage constituted by the Vesuvian villas of the 122th century, with their parks and gardens. There are XNUMX monumental XNUMXth century buildings, included in the territory of the Municipalities of Naples, San Giorgio a Cremano, Portici, Ercolano and Torre del Greco.
