On Wednesday the senator of Brothers of ItalyAntonio Iannone, a member of parliament representing the Salerno constituency, wrote to Health Minister Schillaci "to report the suspicious deaths and to request the dispatch of inspectors who can shed full light on what is happening at Salerno Hospital."
"Every day," he stated in a statement, "I am inundated with reports from unfortunate citizens and healthcare workers themselves who are fed up with working without organizational solutions. De Luca and his Democratic Party's healthcare policy has become a danger to the lives of citizens and hospital workers.
I am certain that Minister Schillaci will listen to my well-documented complaint, which unfortunately has seen a trail of deaths in twenty days, ranging from a 5-month-old baby to yesterday's twenty-year-old," concludes Iannone.
