“A sort of media pillory because evidently for them the physical punishment inflicted on the man was not enough and in fact the victim was also exposed outside the window while being beaten”.
This was stated by the Green-Sinister MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, after many users reported the video to him and to Gianni Simioli's Radiazza. The victim of the attack, which occurred in Marano, and some of his family members turned to Borrelli.
The man, according to a note from the deputy, was allegedly lured into a sort of trap by one of the women under a pretext. “I filed a complaint – the victim explained – I had a 5-day prognosis and now I’m afraid of new violence.”
“The boy, whose failure to react to the violence we greatly appreciate – Borrelli underlines – he has suffered several traumas and has come to us because he is afraid, also for his son. The episode should not be taken lightly just because this time the victim is a man attacked by women.

The victim filed a complaint and we really hope that justice will be done also because the women who committed such violence do not deserve any mitigating circumstances. It is disturbing how the pattern of gender violence is repeated in this video with the roles reversed.

According to Borrelli and the co-spokesperson of Europa Verde in Naples, Nelide Milano, “there is a need for incisive and more severe legislation against gender violence as a crime, but also for a brake on this amplifier of degradation that is social media, which from a tool for socialization are instead used as a weapon of blackmail, harassment, humiliation”.
