Naples, a video has gone viral of a casual thief stealing a cell phone from the Scaturchio pastry shop on Via Portamedina in the Pignasecca area.
A man in his 40s enters the bar as a normal customer. But once inside he immediately begins to look around with an expert eye. He notices a cell phone resting on a cashier's counter that is currently unattended. He approaches, takes out the smartphone and quickly puts it in his pocket.
Then with a nonchalance that would make a seasoned actor envious, he turns to the woman behind the counter and asks for something. A few seconds later, he walks away with the loot.
The man's face is clearly recognizable from the images that were handed over by the owners of the well-known pastry shop to the police who are now on the trail of the thief.
