Napoli. Yesterday morning, the agents of the General Prevention Office, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Center, intervened in via Gabriele Jannelli for the report of a woman threatened by her ex-partner.
The police, having arrived on site, identified the reported man and were approached by a woman who, indicating him as her ex-partner, said she had already reported him in the past for persecutory acts but he continued to harass her; in particular, in the morning she had joined her in the street and threatened her.
At that moment, the man railed at her, threatening her and then attempted to hit her brandishing a book but was blocked by the operators.
A 34-year-old Neapolitan with a police record was arrested for stalking.
