Fridays for Future activists staged a protest in Naples, occupying the offices of the Plenitude Store on the Chiaia Riviera for several minutes . "Plenitude is Eni, it's just greenwashing," Michela Spina, national spokesperson for the Fridays for Future movement, said into a megaphone during the protest. "And while they're trying to paint themselves green, they're continuing to devastate and pollute our planet. Enough is enough."
“The climate battle is the battle of our generation,” declared Davide Dioguardi, representative for Naples of the environmental movement. “We need to reverse course by reducing climate-altering emissions, completely revising the food production system. It is right that the rich pay for the ecological transition.”
The young people of the movement inspired by the actions of Greta Thunberg are thus launching their new global demonstration on March 3rd, which in Naples includes a procession that will start at 9 am from Piazza Dante and go through the city center.
