Since the beginning of February, at the direction of the city's Green Services, teams of Napoli Servizi operators have been pruning and felling dead trees along many city streets.
The press office of the municipality of Naples announced it in a press release. In detail, the streets affected are: Via Pietro Castellino, Via Petrarca, Piazza degli Artisti, Via Rocco Jemma, Via Mario Fiore, for a total of over 200 trees pruned.
In Piazza Cavour and in the Miano area, several dry trees were also cut down. In the Ponticelli Eco-district, a clean-up activity was carried out to clear the ground of thorns, brambles and brushwood.
Furthermore, further pruning interventions were carried out, in addition to those carried out by Napoli Servizi in: Piazza Salvatore di Giacomo, Via Posillipo, Via Petrarca, Discesa Coroglio, Piazzetta Marechiaro, Via Bonito, Via degli Ortolani, Via delle Galassie, Via Pietro Castellino (in progress), Piazzale Cardarelli (in progress).
Finally, over 60 maintenance works of the horizontal greenery have been carried out since the beginning of 2023, of which 10 of these started only in the last two weeks: Via Altamura, Plesso Viviani, Via Labriola-Ciccotti, Viale Augusto; via Dolomiti, Via Gaetano Bruno, via Metastasio, via Giustiniano Ricci, via Certosa di Parma Romanzo, via Cesareo Console. Over 150 recipients of citizen income are involved in these activities.
