The officers of the San Lorenzo operational unit of the Municipal Police of Napoli, together with ASIA personnel, intervened on Via Firenze, Via Torino, Via Alessandro Poerio, Via Francesco D'Aragona, Via Carriera Grande, and Corso Novara near the Food Hall, where they removed tons of waste, including clothing and various objects, abandoned on the road. Commercial businesses on Via Pietro Colletta were inspected, where six fines were issued to bar and restaurant owners for illegally occupying public land.
Following a report, officers in Piazza Poderico seized a structure serving a bar/pastry shop. Specifically, the owner had constructed a completely enclosed structure with tubular steel and plexiglass panels that occupied most of the sidewalk and was bolted to the ground.
The owner, according to the Municipal Police, was found to be without a permit, and therefore the structure was seized and a report was sent to the judicial authorities.
