Blitz by the NAS Carabinieri of Caserta in a villa for events for Valentine's Day: 300 kg of food seized and closure of 3 refrigeration plants and a drinks warehouse.
As part of a specific service carried out on the occasion of Valentine's Day, the Carabinieri of the NAS of Caserta carried out a check at an event villa in the province, which had planned an evening organized for this occasion.
The investigation concluded with the seizure and destruction of approximately 300 kg of various foods, including ready-to-serve food preparations and meat/fish products, for violations regarding the traceability of food products and the suspension of 3 refrigeration systems and a beverage warehouse, because they were used in complete absence of the necessary notification to the health authorities and in precarious hygienic, sanitary and structural conditions.
For the violations found, administrative sanctions were imposed on the owners for a total amount of 3.500 euros.
On the same occasion, the Carabinieri of the NIL of Caserta carried out a check on the contribution position of the employees, ascertaining serious breaches by the employer.
