Less than a year after her debut single “Ciao” which officially established her on the Italian music market, highlighting her songwriting talent and interpretive refinement, the Neapolitan singer-songwriter and actress Alba returns to digital stores with “Odiarti Anch'io” (Delma Jag Records), her new single which reconfirms her elegance and stylistic signature, highlighting a further aspect of her artistic sensibility.
Born from the lack of possibility of replying after the end of a relationship, the song is a black and white of emotions that flow in vivid thoughts and intense memories, through which, Alba's graceful pen and soft vocals draw a melancholic and compelling portrait at the same time, in which to immerse yourself and identify to exorcise the pain and free yourself from the past.
Contrasting feelings and perceptions, suspended between the desire to relive the pleasant moments spent together and the awareness of having lost something important but at the same time harmful and deleterious, follow one another and then unite and align in the desire to turn the page to start over from ourselves, loving ourselves in that totality also composed of wounds, inner voids that should not be filled with the memory of those who caused them, or better said, of those we allowed to cause them, but with a good dose of self-love that must necessarily be cultivated day after day.
The need to love, but above all to be loved, often leads to abandoning one's identity in favor of a complex and tormented relationship, supported by a fictitious and illusory acceptance of what in reality does not represent us but we pretend to be to please the other, a sneaky and petty manipulation, often the result of a sense of inadequacy, which even before coming from the outside, we direct at ourselves, consequently allowing those around us to make fun of our feelings.
"I Hate You Too ," Alba states, " tells a story, a story of manipulation and psychological terrorism. The protagonist is a young woman who, in a moment of fragility, is manipulated into becoming dependent on another person, whose goal is to make her feel inadequate and worthless once they are no longer together. At the same time, however, it is also the story of all those who try to open their eyes and stop deluding themselves into imagining something that doesn't exist, managing to find, by looking at the reality of the facts, a reason not to feel that kind of love anymore ."
"I'm in the prime of my life, but I choose how to destroy myself. It was enough to be together, I know how to fall anyway" and " You who don't know how to be well, I say this time I'm turning the page" are among the song's most representative passages, through which we can see not only the maturity of the young singer-songwriter born in 2000, but also and above all her ability to tell her story and translate into music a slice of reality that still too often goes unnoticed, caught between fear of judgment and social minimization.
“Odiarti Anch'io”, written by Alba herself and produced by Samuel Aureliano Trotta, is accompanied by the emblematic graphics of Mery Sinatra and the images of Diana De Luca.
Intense, penetrating and endowed with a rare expressive finesse, Alba represents one of the best promises of the new national female pop scene, the perfect hybrid between contemporaneity and the class that has always distinguished Italian singer-songwriter productions.

Four years later, she wrote her first unpublished texts, in English and Italian, and, shortly after, she began acting, highlighting the versatility of her Art that allows her to blend cinema, theater, TV series, composition and interpretation. At the beginning of 2022, she entered the homes of Italians by participating in the famous and very successful Rai production "Il Paradiso delle Signore" and, in May of the same year, she released her first official single, "Ciao", an open-hearted letter to oneself that leads the listener to a new self-awareness; a journey through the stages of subjugation and self-destruction to free oneself from the toxicity of relationships and be reborn, from one's own ashes and from the world.
In 2023, having moved to London to continue her studies, the artist returns with “Odiarti Anch'io”, a black and white that deals with the delicate theme of psychological manipulation within a couple's relationship, urging the listener to free themselves from the burdens of the past to rebuild their identity starting from a good and healthy dose of self-love.
