The murder of the illegal parking attendant Gaetano Arrigo , killed in the Coroglio area , in the Bagnoli district , in June 2016, was a mistake by the killers.

It wasn't planned by the D'Ausilio clan but was apparently the result of a mistake by the killers. "Perhaps they were drunk or on drugs," said Felice D'Ausilio, the former clan leader and now a cooperating witness, as he testified today before the judges of the Fifth Court of Assizes in the trial in Naples against his brother Antonio and other alleged members of the Camorra clan that has been operating in the Bagnoli area for years.

So there was no planning on the part of the gang. But to get their hands on the parking business in one of the areas most frequented by the nightlife of Naples, a signal had to be sent to everyone and that is why the rebellious parking attendant had to be punished with a leg shot. But the hitmen killed him.

Felice D'Ausilio is the son of the historic clan leader Domenico, known as "Minì or the Scarred One ." He cooperated with justice in 2016, thanks to a permit, and managed to escape while detained in Sardinia . While on the run, according to investigators, he attempted to boost the clan, positioning himself at the top. He was captured by the Carabinieri in December 2016, having escaped in May of that same year.

The military found him in a house in Marano di Napoli and on that occasion too he attempted to escape, through a window, but was stopped shortly after, also thanks to a helicopter that was monitoring the area.
