Municipal police checks in the neighborhood Vomero Naples: A motorcyclist was stopped on board a stolen vehicle. Officers stopped the moped with two people on board on Via Pietro Castellino after they attempted to flee from a stop.
Subsequent investigations revealed that the driver of the vehicle already had several police records and for driving vehicles without having obtained a driving license. The moped he was driving was also found to be stolen and was circulating with a registration plate different from the original one. The operations were completed with the return of the vehicle to the owner who had reported its theft in via Foria a few days ago.
The municipal police have intensified their activities aimed at roadside checks throughout the city.

Following the operations, 11 vehicles were seized and 8 were detained, including 6 for failure to wear a protective helmet, 2 for using a cell phone while driving without legally permitted devices, 7 for vehicles without insurance coverage, 3 for failure to have periodic inspections, 3 for irregularities in the vehicle registration documents, and 4 for lack of a driving license or for being unsuitable for the vehicle being driven.
An intervention aimed at preventing and combating illegal parking was carried out on Via Stella, resulting in 10 fines issued and 5 vehicles towed because they were parked in a way that compromised the use of road infrastructure dedicated to pedestrian mobility and public transport.
