Mysterious stabbing on the streets of Ponticelli.
A 57-year-old man was injured, not seriously, this afternoon, by a cutting weapon in Piazza Abbeveratoio in the Neapolitan neighbourhood of PonticelliAccording to what has been learned, the man reportedly told police officers that he had been approached in the square by a person with a masked face who demanded money.
When he refused, he allegedly stabbed him in the left forearm with a knife. The 57-year-old was treated at Villa Betania hospital in Napoli He was released with a seven-day prognosis. The Ponticelli Police Station is investigating the incident and verifying the veracity of the injured man's version of events.
