The Socialist MEP Marc Tarabella He has been under arrest since this morning as part of the Qatargate investigation.
This afternoon the prosecutor's office will decide whether to validate the arrest. In the meantime his office at the European Parliament is under seizure and so is the office of the socialist MEP (of the Democratic Party) Andrea Cozzolino.
Tarabella told investigators who visited his home this morning: “Finally, I have been waiting for you for two months, now I can be heard.” The European Parliament has already voted in recent days to revoke the immunity of the two deputies.
The office of PD MEP Andrea Cozzolino, as well as that of Marc Tarabella, is now also under seizure.
