Time clock cheats at the hospital Salerno.
The Carabinieri of the NAS of Salerno have executed a precautionary measure against two nurses, a man and a woman, subject to suspension from the exercise of public office or service for one year.
They are charged with aggravated fraud against the state and failure to comply with the rules governing employment within public administrations.
According to the investigation, the two nurses, employees of the San Giovanni di Dio and Ruggi d'Aragona University Hospital, allegedly fraudulently certified the woman's presence at work, thus allowing her to unduly receive remuneration for hours of service not performed.
On several occasions, the nurse reported to the hospital at a later time than recorded by the electronic recording systems, using the other nurse to register the start of her shift before her arrival. On two holidays, the woman allegedly didn't even come to work, merely having her attendance recorded, both when she arrived and when she left.
